Discover what it means to be at METC
Nestled in the Howard Parker reserve and a 5 minute walk from the heart of the village, METC shares its roots with the rich history of the Ranelagh estate. Come enjoy a leisurely hit on a warm afternoon and relax with friends in the Brian Brimmell gardens.
Opened officially in 1983, the first tennis courts were established in Mount Eliza for leisure by the Ranelagh estate. This estate was modelled on the old country clubs within the United States to provide a holiday destination for families.
Originally lawn tennis courts spanned across the full width of the reserve to where the Mount Eliza bowls club is currently located, prior to its establishment in the 80s.
